Friday, September 17, 2010

Foreign direct investment in Panama reached $1.14 billion in the first half of the year, reported Roberto Henríquez, the industry and trade minister.

The $1.14 billion amounts to a 26 percent increase on the same period of this year.

The increase “shows the confidence that investors have in Panama in the context of the world economic recovery,” said Henríquez.
