Thursday, November 29, 2012

Panama's economic growth slowed to 7.8 percent in September compared with the same month last year, the government's statistics office said.

Economic growth in September 2011 was 8.3 percent.

In August, the economy grew by 9.26 percent, much faster than the 6.8 percent originally reported last month. The office did not explain the reason for such a huge revision.
