Panama's economy grows 5.8 percent

Panama's gross domestic product grew 5.8 percent in the first quarter this year, compared with the same period in 2013, the country's statistics office, Inec, said.
The figure represents an economy worth $8.16 billion.
Among the best performing sectors in the period were transport, communications, financial services, construction and real estate.
