Panama's exports up 5 percent in first half

Panama's exports reached $405 million in the first half of the year, a 5 percent growth compared to the same period last year.
Banana was the best performing export product, with $47 million, while the previous leading product, gold, saw a 10 percent drop.
Other products that helped boost the country's sales were coffee, watermelon and melon.
