Panama's fiscal deficit grows 25 percent

Panama's fiscal deficit for the first half of the year stands at $1.19 billion.
The figure shows a 25 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Minister for Economy, Frank de Lima.
The central government's spending in the six months up to June grew 14 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching $1.95 billion.
