Companies operating in Panama's maritime industry are facing problems due to a lack of qualified labour.
"Those of us involved in the logistics and maritime sectors of Panama are having problems finding well-qualified staff", said Willys Delvalle, president of Panama's Maritime Chamber.
One of the main problems is lack of English skills. "The majority of workers don't speak it, and those who do only know the basics", added Delvalle.
