Panama's small firms create 400,000 jobs
Panama's micro and small enterprises create more than 400,00 jobs in the country, the small enterprise authority, Ampyme, said.
But those companies face challenges, such as difficulty in getting finance, said Ampyme director Margarita Romero.
She added that the country needs specialized banks and financial services for the sector, as currently there is only traditional banking available.
