Panama’s stock market is growing rapidly as reforms cut red tape and new issuers reap the benefits.

During the first quarter of this year, the value of transactions increased by 8.5 percent on the same period of 2010.

Roberto Brenes, the market manager, reported that new stockbrokers are being invited to offer their services.
