Panama's Varela presents $15-billion program

Panamanian President-elect Juan Carlos Varela announced a $15-billion investment plan for his administration.
The plan includes the creation of a transport authority and basic sanitation work, as well as make better use of the current fiscal income without creating or modifying taxes.
The aim of the plan is to focus on projects that will improve life quality in the country, which is why Varela said spending on aspects such as advertising would be unnecessary.
