Panama seeks to become international arbitrator

Panama is looking to become an international arbitration center, after a new law aiming to regulate national and international arbitration was approved.

Panama's main strengths are its economy, logistics, infrastructure and connectivity.

The country would be competing against cities such as Miami, but will be ahead of other countries in Latin America due to its logistics, Liliana Sánchez, head of Panama's arbitration center, said.
