Panama seen growing above 7 percent in 2014

The Panamanian government said it will maintain its 2014 growth forecast above 7 percent.

The figure represents a gross domestic product worth $47.4 billion, $3.8 billion more than 2013.

The forecast will be maintained despite a below-forecast growth of 5.8 percent in the first quarter this year.
