Panama sees rise in mortgage credits

The number of active mortgage financing accounts in Panama grew 6.6 percent up to July this year, compared to the same period las year, according to the country's credit association.
The figure represents more than 220,700 active mortgages.
The number accounts for mortgages worth $10.2 billion, 15 percent more than the $8.8 billion for the same period last year.
