Panama signs international pact to end status as tax haven

Panama has taken a big step to ending its offshore tax haven status by agreeing on a pact to share information with other governments.

The pact ought to bury once and for all the scandal that still hangs on from the Panama Papers revelations, the OCED’s senior official in tax matters said.
