Panama sold goods worth $821 million last year
Panama's exports grew 4.7 percent during 2012, compared to the previous year, reaching $821 million, said the minister of Trade and Industry, Ricardo Quijano.
Gold was the number one export, with $115 million, followed by bananas, with $86 million.
In third place was prawn, selling just over $40 million, which was also the amount registered for pineapple, and was the highest figure in the last seven years.
