Panama state and private sector to set wage hikes

In June, Panama’s private sector together with the government will define the methodology for wage increases, taking into account labor productivity and the cost of living.

“The parties must agree on how much is needed to earn a decent living in Panama, but also on how productive their work is.,” a senior official said.
