Panama takes advantage of Taiwan accord

Panama is one of the countries that most takes advantage of having a free trade agreement with Taiwan.

The vice president of the Taiwanese trade council, Yuen-Chuan Chao, said Panama has trebled its exports to Taiwan since the agreement came into effect in 2003.

The Panamanian products with most demand in Taiwan are iron, frozen beef, fish and aluminum waste.
