Panama to have 30 international air accords

Panama will have 30 new aerial accords with Middle Eastern countries by the end of the year, said the the Panamanian aeronautical authority.

The countries include Turkey, Israel, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt, and will first focus on logistics and cargo flights, while at a later stage expand passenger flights.

Panama has 26 other aerial accords, and six open skies treaties, with the United States, Curacao, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile and Peru.
