Panama to raise spending plan by $5 billion

Panama’s proposed $21.7 billion spending plan has been increased by $5.1 billion following recommendations made by the Budget Committee of the National Assembly and the Ministry of Finance.

The changes to the  state budget were approved  by the Cabinet Council on Friday. The budget, must now be approved by the plenary of the Assembly.
