Panama to require thousands of professionals

Panama will need some 250,000 professionals in the next five years, if it maintains growth rates such as this year's forecast of 7.2 percent, said Sulphy Santamaría, Vice Minister of Labor.

The Labor Ministry will focus on developing human resources, she added.

"There will be no more excuses, we will prepare Panamanians so they can have access to better jobs and a better quality of life," Santamaría said.
