Pena Nieto urged to rebuild public's trust in reforms

Mexico’s ambitious reform program will count for little if the scandal-tainted government of President Enrique Peña Nieto fails to rebuild shattered public confidence.

The unusually candid assessment comes from Luis Videgaray, Mexico’s finance minister, who, like the president, has been at the centre of an outcry over embarrassing house purchases from a prominent government contractor that have fueled allegations of crony capitalism.
