Peru and Central America aim to conclude accord on free trade by mid-year

Peru and Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama) aim to conclude negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement by the end of the first half this year.

The third round of talks for an agreement is due to conclude this week in San José, Costa Rica.

This round includes specific business roundtables and also a deputy ministers’ meeting to be held on 4 March.
