Podcast: Colombia’s plan to spend billions on transport

Colombia’s road system is antiquated by modern standards and remains one of the most-cited factors hurting the nation’s economic competitiveness. To help overcome this deficit, the government has embarked on an ambitious project to modernize the nation’s highways, planning to spend tens of billions of dollars in the coming years to turn slow transit routes into a transportation system befitting a large country with such economic strength.
