Panama's new insurance law will not mean costlier policies, stated the president of the Panamanian Insurance Association, Eduardo Fábrega.
The new law will give insurance companies the ability to expand into new markets, as there are 30 insurance companies competing in the country.
According to the association, a total of $346 million in policies has been achieved this year, a 2.4 percent increase compared to last year.
