Political crisis sparks slump in Managua hotel bookings

More than 60 percent of the hotel workers in the Nicaraguan capital have been obliged to go on holiday.

The decision, which is without precedent, was taken because of occupancy rates have fallen to 20 percent for the three weeks that have lasted during the nation's political crisis.
