Poll shows half of Costa Ricans back oil exploration

According to the latest opinion poll by the Costa Rica Institute of Technology, 51% of Costa Ricans support exploration for oil and natural gas within national territory.

Of the 511 respondents, an additional 12% said they would favor exploration under certain conditions, while 32% said they oppose exploration.
