Price-war fears over boom in Panama hotels

A huge boom in hotel construction in Panama has led to fears of a possible price war.

In 2010, the province of Panama had 10,000 hotel rooms; now it has 17,000.

Tourism arrivals have increased but not enough to fill the new capacity, creating concern over a possible price war among hotels.
