PriceSmart key sales indicator rises by 18.5 percent in sign of business health
PriceSmart said that sales at warehouse clubs open at least a year rose 18.5 percent for the five weeks ended March 6.
This figure is a key indicator of a warehouse club operator's health because it excludes sales from clubs opened or closed during the year.
PriceSmart runs warehouse clubs in Central America and the Caribbean. It said total sales for February climbed 23.6 percent to $124.1 million.
