Region 'could only offer united TPP bid'

 

Central america would have to make a joint bid if it wants to join the Trans-Pacific Alliance, exports say.

Nicaragua is the only country in the region that is mulling a request join the TPP. But sources there say the TPP would not interested in negotiations with countries that are tiny compared with those of alliance members.
