Region faces electric interconnection obstacles

Central America's project for regional electric interconnection continues to face obstacles.
Costa Rica has yet to complete the construction of 32 kilometers of necessary infrastrcuture for the poject, known as SIEPAC.
The aim of SIEPAC is to use the region's natural resources, in order to boost clean energy production and cut dependance on thermal energy.
