Region keen on Panama-Mexico railway

Throughout Central America there is interest in reactivating a train project that would run from Panama to Mexico.

Spain has expressed interest in cooperating, according to the Spanish infrastructure minister, Rafael Catalá.

"We have some very experienced railway construction companies, both private and public" he said after a meeting in Guatemala with the country's transport ministers.
