Region's violent image is overblown, says new study

Central America is not exactly the violence-ravaged region that many media and business organizations have claimed, a new study reveals.
The global Peace Index shows that Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua are less violent than the United States.
Nor are Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala as violent as the region's "big brothers", Mexico and Colombia.
