Region seeks boost for small hotels

 

Central America's small hotel business leaders gathered in Panama to discuss ways of boosting their sector.

During the 12th edition of the Central American Small Hotels Forum, hotel owners discussed topics such as using protected areas, how to make a successful tourism destination and development of sustainable tourism.

Participants also discussed ways of allowing local governments and citizens decide how investments would be used to benefit their development.
