Tourism companies from Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador have started to promote multiple destination packages.
In order to achieve the goal, tourism representatives from the three Central American countries are organizing events, business meetings and fairs to promote regional tourism.
"Competition between the countries is a thing of the past, now they are one region which should be sold as multiple destinations," said Arturo Cano, from the Nicaraguan tourism authority.
