Monday, April 4, 2011

Investment banking in Central America is beginning to grow after two years of global economic crisis.

The most recent investment bank to launch in the region is The Network Co., based in El Salvador but with links throughout Central America.

It competes with two long-established Costa Rican outfits, Mesoamérica and E3 Capital. The Central American operators compete with such leading international institutions as Morgan Stanley, Citibank and JP Morgan.
