Remittances to El Salvador grow 2.7 percent

Remittances from the U.S. to El Salvador reached $342 million in October, according to the country's central reserve bank.

The figure is 2.7 percent higher than the same month last year.

From January to October, El Salvador has received $3.4 billion in remittances, 7.5 percent more than the same period in 2013.
