Remittances to Nicaragua grow 2.6 percent

Nicaragua received $85 million in remittances in January this year.

The figure is 2.6 percent higher than the same month in 2012, according to the country's central bank.

The United States continues to be the main source of remittances for Nicaragua, followed by Costa Rica.
