Remittances to Nicaragua grow 6.2 percent

Remittances to Nicaragua reached $879 million from January to October this year, the central bank said.

The figure is 6.2 percent higher than the $827 million reported for the same period last year.

According to the bank, May was the month in which the country received the highest amount of remittances, with almost $93 million.
