Remittances to Nicaragua grow 6.4 percent

Remittances to Nicaragua grew 6.4 percent in the first half of the year, compared with the same period in 2013, the central bank said.

The figure represents remittances worth $555 million.

Fifty-seven percent of the total is from the United States, followed by Costa Rica, Spain and Panama.
