Today, the Allure of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship -- and considered by many to be the best -- weighed anchor on the Honduran island of Roatán.

The giant ship's arrival is being seen by many in Honduras as confirming that Roatán is on the way to becoming a world-class tourism destination.
