Rockefeller Foundation to give funds to Medellin
The city of Medellin, Colombia, is part of a network of cities that will benefit from a project by the Rockefeller Foundation.
The project will hand out $100 million to cities the foundation considers have the ability to overcome extraordinary situations.
Medellin won the Wall Street Journal and Citigroup's prize to most innovative city 2013 after a series of initiatives by the Medellin government aimed at boosting transport and culture.
