Monday, November 28, 2011

The collection of the first 25,000 tons of wheat donated by the Russian government to Nicaragua will ensure bread consumption for at least three months.

The operations manager of the National Basic Food Company, Nelson Largaespada, said that the second delivery of a similar amount will probably come in early 2012.

Russia gave Nicaragua 100,000 tons of wheat, which will be supplied in four deliveries.
