Sacyr Vallehermosa may earn $30.9 million a year over the five-year contract for expanding the Panama Canal, Spanish daily Cinco Dias reported.
The project, in which Spain’s Sacyr owns a 48 percent stake, may earn $322 million before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization over the period, giving it a 10 percent profit margin.
The company is assuming it will have a margin of at least 6 percent, the newspaper said.
