Salvadoran builders urge investment boost

Tuesday, March 25, 2014

El Salvador's construction sector continues to wait for better conditions that would attract more investment into the sector.

One of the main issues for construction in El Salvador is that the government "hasn't helped create an investment climate," said Carlos José Guerrero, president of the country's construction chamber, Casalco.

"We hope the next government create a good investment climate, which goes from generating confidence in the investor, respecting the laws and keeping clear and transparent public accounts," he added.
