Salvadoran coffee growers in a quandary

Growers of Salvadoran specialty coffees have been enjoying prices of more than those of the New York market.

But the Salvadoran growers are not happy. They say that the quality of their product implies much more greater costs and a bigger cut for intermediaries.

Problems are likely to persist. Roasters already have their warehouses full to the brim, industry sources say.
