Santa Claus heads for Walmart México and Centroamérica

Monday, October 4, 2010

Santa Claus will have fewer toys to deliver this year in Guatemala. Toy imports fell drastically in 2009, and the upcoming Christmas is unlikely to be much better.

Toy imports had grown steadily until 2008, when they reached $80 million, but last year they slumped to $59 million.

However, Walmart México and Centroamérica still hopes that there will be plenty of toys in its stores this Christmas.
