Santos wins Colombian presidential election

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos won the second round of presidential elections in Colombia on Sunday.

With 99 percent of the votes counted, Santos took 50.9 percent, while his rival, Oscar Iván Zuluaga, took 45 percent.

Santos's key campaign promise was to continue peace talks with Marxist guerrillas.
