School shopping to grow 45 percent in Nicaragua

School supply shopping is expected to generate some $80 million to the Nicaraguan economy, according to Rosendo Mayorga, president of the Nicaraguan chamber of trade and services.
The figure represents a 45.4 percent increase compared with last year.
At this time of year, the top-selling items will be school uniforms, shoes, bags and stationery.
