Scotiabank named best bank in Costa Rica

Scotiabank was named best bank in Costa Rica in the 2014 Awards for Excellence by Euromoney magazine, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

The bank has also earned recognition from Global Finance magazine for its online banking services, which the magazine said "is the best internet banking service for private consumers".

Scotibank Costa Rica also won Euromoney's best bank award in 2007, 2009 and 2011.
