Sectors cautious with Panama-Colombia accord

Some sectors in the Panamanian economy are wary of the free trade agreement with Colombia.

The main issues are the fees on garments and customs agencies, which restrict operations in the Colon Free Trade Zone.

Furthermore, several agricultural sectors fear the agreement will see mass imports of Colombian products, and bringing new cattle diseases.
