Seven airlines wait to launch Panama flights

Four airlines from Asia, two from Europe and one from the Middle East are keen to launch direct flights to Panama because of its facilities as a hub for Latin America.

The flights would be the first to link the Tocumen international airport with Asia and the Middle East.

Three direct connections are already in place with Madrid, through Iberia, Amsterdam and KLM, and Condor to Frankfurt.
